Meet Sophie
Hello, I’m Sophie, the Founder & Creative Director of When & Where Events.
​
I’ve always been drawn to anything creative. From designing and making things from a young age, to studying fashion and getting the chance to work at London Fashion Week, I’ve always loved turning ideas into something you can see, experience and enjoy.
​
That naturally led me into a career in visual merchandising, where I spent years creating spaces, playing with colour, texture and detail, and bringing a creative vision to life. But somewhere along the way, I realised I wanted to create more than just beautiful spaces - I wanted to create experiences.
​
And that’s where my love of events really began.
​
There’s something about bringing all the different elements together - the styling, the details, the atmosphere and the people - to create something that feels completely personal.
​
And so, here we are.
​
Now, I get to combine my love of creativity and design with the planning and organisation that goes on behind the scenes, helping bring your ideas to life and creating events that feel just as good as they look.

Event styling
Creating beautiful, considered spaces through colour, texture, flowers and those finishing touches that make all the difference.
Planning & organisation
Keeping all the moving parts together, making sure the plans are clear, the details are covered and everything feels a little easier.
On-the-day coordination
Taking care of what’s happening behind the scenes, so you can relax, enjoy the moment and be fully present at your event.
From bouquets to tablescapes and statement arrangements, creating florals that complement the overall look and bring everything together.

Probably not a huge surprise, but I can rarely walk past a flower shop without having a look.
Fashion will always be a love of mine
My fashion degree and visual merchandising background definitely still sneak into the way I approach events.
I’m happiest when I’m creating
Whether it’s flowers, styling, interiors, fashion or an event, I love having something to get stuck into.
Dog walks are my reset button
I love getting out for a walk with the dogs and switching off from everything else.
